Last Saturday, the SND / 440/2020 Order of May 23 was published in the Official State Gazette, which lifts the suspension of works in inhabited buildings, established in the SND / 340/2020 order, from 00: 00 hours on Monday May 25, 2020, at which time the Ministerial Order will enter into force.
This means that the reform, replacement, replacement, repair work, etc. can be carried out. in buildings and inhabited houses, without more restrictions than in other types of activities, that is, guaranteeing hygiene measures and a safety distance of 2 meters and, in any case, always following the instructions of the health authorities.
Thus, Order SND / 440 in its first Article, section eight, literally says the following:
"Eight. A new additional provision is removed with the following wording:
Fifth additional provision. Conditions for the development of activities related to intervention works in buildings.
1. The suspension of activities related to intervention works in existing buildings, established by Order SND / 340/2020, of April 12, is lifted, suspending certain activities related to intervention works in existing buildings in which there is a risk of contagion by COVID-19 for people not related to said activity.
2. In carrying out the works referred to in the previous section, adequate hygiene measures and the minimum safety distance between people of two meters will be guaranteed in all cases. "
