The Valencian Energy Agency subsidizes up to 75 euros / m2 for the replacement of windows
On December 22th of 2015 was published in the Official Journal of the Valencia the resolution of the 24th of November 2015, from the president of the Institute for Small and Medium Industry of the Generalitat Valenciana (IVACE), stating that aid with the Windows Renew scheme 2016 would be provided for the thermal renovation in properties of the Valencian community and the adhesion of shops and installation companies.
The purpose of this resolution is to establish the regulatory bases and the call for IVACE Windows Renovation Scheme 2016 of Valencia, aiming at the thermal restoration of windows and balcony doors (glazing, frame and subframe) in normal houses in the Valencian Region.
Will be benefit from the aid any owner, beneficiary or tenant of an usually occupied property in Valencia.
The whole maximum amount for this call is 1,100,000 euros, always subjected to the availability of adecuate and sufficient funds within the economic budget of 2016.
Any renovation of windows and French windows (glazing, frame and subframe) are likely to benefit from the scheme if they meet the following technical specifications:
Windows and Balcony doors must be part of the outwards closures of the housing (separating enclosures or heated or chilled rooms from the outside ), excluded of the aid the inwards glazed surfaces.
Glazing must be replaced by single glazing.
New windows and / or balcony doors must have the CE label.
New windows and / or balcony doors have an air permeability of? 27 m³ / h · m to 100 Pa (Class 2 or higher) according to UNE-EN 12207.
The thermal characteristics of the new windows and balcony doors must have, depending on the classification of populations listed in Annex I, a transmittance below 2.6 W / m2K (zone 1) below 2.4 W / m2K (zone 2) and below 2.2 W / m2K (zone 3).
The amount of individual aid provided by the IVACE, shall not exceed 75 € / sqm to complete renovations of windows or balcony doors (glazing, frame and subframe).
The contribution of the corporation or installation company associated will make up of a discount on the bill up to € 15 / sqm at the time of installation.
The start date of the campaign will be January 12 2016 and will end on June 17 2016, or upon exhaustion of the funds allocated to this call
