The Valencian company, leader in the aluminum sector, Aluval, presented this Tuesday, March 12, the III Aluval Architecture Competition, a contest aimed at rewarding the creativity of architectural projects carried out by students and engineering and building professionals from Spain and Latin America. and the United States.
After the success of the first and second edition, the Valencian company has decided to launch this third edition under the motto “Aluval Awards, Dreams Fulfilled”. “At Aluval we empathize with those professionals who dream of buildings with almost zero energy consumption and that is why we want to reward the creativity and ingenuity used in pursuit of their dream, which is also ours,” the organization explains. The call, which will remain open until July 15, 2024, is aimed at students of architecture, technical architecture or building engineering degrees who aspire to build buildings with almost zero energy costs. In this edition, recently graduated professionals with less than three years of experience may also participate. The intention of these awards is to reward creativity and ingenuity, both among students and professionals in the sector, with the only requirement that participants must use Aluval carpentry systems in the design of their projects.
The jury will be made up of 2 architects and a technical manager from Aluval's R&D&I area. The competition has three prizes: the first place will receive €2,000 in cash, €1,000 for the second place and a trip to VETECO 2024 for the third place.
